This famous phrase certainly captures the feeling we had walking through the building after three years of work.

Phase One Underway

Our Green Gables Visitors Centre project has been underway since September. The first phase timber frame is near completion. The overall design respects the existing barn vernacular while introducing contemporary detailing. This addition will eventually contain a new commercial kitchen and dining area with a strong connection to an outdoor seating area through two sets of aluminum bi-fold doors.

We are excited that root architecture was chosen to design the new Green Gables Visitor’s Centre. The project will also be pursuing LEED v4 Silver certification.

It has been great to be the Architects for the Scotiabank Centre seating rejuvenation. Through many meetings on strategy and product selection, to waiting for chairs to arrive, this has been a very successful project for all involved. Thanks to HRM and TCL for giving us this opportunity.

Northside Community Guest Home, North Sydney

Renovations to the Northside Community Guest Home are well underway. A much needed dining area and new nurses station are part of the upgrades.

We are excited to be moving into our new offices in June 2014, located at 15 Victoria Road, Dartmouth, N.S, B2Y 2V5. Renovations are underway and we are looking forward to being a part of the resurgence in the downtown core.
